I qualified from Stranmillis University College with a BEd Primary (Hons) degree in 2009.
I then taught for 13 years in a Primary School and was the school Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCo).
As a parent and former teacher/SENCo, my passion is supporting families by giving them the tools to understand and navigate life with Neurodiversity.
I aim to connect, educate, navigate and support.
• Education on the many different Neurotypes (e.g. Autism, ADHD etc)
• Explanation of the referral and diagnostic processes
• Advice on the ‘Code of Practice’ & statementing process in schools
• Connecting to support and services in the local area
• Signposting to other businesses and networks
• Advice on benefits and entitlement to support
• Help with completing forms
• Recommendations from lived experience
• Advocating and sharing my experiences
• Identifying the next steps in your journey
I educate, advise and support parents, carers and families who are navigating Neurodivergence.
