I specialise in gastroenterology, managing issues such as difficulty swallowing, unintentional weight loss and changes in bowel habits. I manage conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and chronic liver disease.
I have a specialist interest in endoscopy, including Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
I am a gastroenterologist based in Antrim Area Hospital. I was appointed in August 2021 as a consultant in Gastroenterology and General Medicine, and I am currently the governance lead for Gastroenterology at Antrim Hospital. I have an interest in colonoscopy, gastroscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, and upper GI pathology.
My undergraduate medical training was at Queens University Belfast, graduating in 2012. I became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in Feb 2016 (MRCP).
My postgraduate gastroenterology training was undertaken in Northern Ireland.
