Mr Walls has a wide scope of practice that encompasses all aspects of foot and ankle conditions, including minor and major trauma, sports injuries, arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle, instability of the ankle, bunions, painful toes, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuromas and deformities of the feet such as flat feet and high arches.

He has special interests in arthroscopic foot and ankle techniques, minimally invasive procedures, hindfoot deformity, sports injuries and primary and revision ankle replacement.

Mr Andrew Walls was born in Northern Ireland and completed his medical training at Queens University Belfast in 2009. He completed Orthopaedic higher-surgical training in 2021, being accepted onto the specialist register and was appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Foot and Ankle surgery at Altnagelvin Area Hospital.

He is dual-fellowship trained in Foot and Ankle Trauma & reconstruction both nationally and internationally. These fellowships in England and Canada further developed his specialist interest in all aspects of Foot and Ankle surgery.
