General & Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon

Mr Mazouk specialises in general and upper gastrointestinal surgery and has vast expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic (keyhole) techniques. His core areas include:

  • gallbladder and biliary surgery,

He is the current Clinical Lead for General Surgery (Western Trust), Postgraduate Tutor for surgical training and Ass. Professor of General Surgery (Cairo University, Egypt).

He holds academic appointments at Cairo University and is actively involved in publications, education, training, and clinical audits. He is a certified GMC and NIMDTA surgical and JAG-UGI endoscopy trainer, a Fellow of multiple general and UGI surgical national and international associations and societies.
