Mr Skelly is a Consultant General and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in the Western Trust, based at Altnagelvin Area Hospital. He gained subspecialty fellowship training in Dublin focusing on breast cancer management and combined oncoplastic breast surgery procedures, including breast implant, pedicled flap reconstruction and revisional breast surgery for breast cancer and benign breast disease.
Mr Skelly has a broad range of experience in general surgery and breast surgery, having worked in multiple tertiary referral units in Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland. He specialises in the treatment of breast cancer and general surgery patients with a keen interest in oncoplastic breast surgery for cancer patients. Mr Skelly also has a special interest in the assessment of hernias with extensive experience of hernia repair surgery.
