Sleep Physiologist
I specialise in sleep physiology, particularly the measurement of sleep disordered breathing used to diagnose obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). Following a diagnosis, I support patients who use CPAP( Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) ventilation to treat OSA.
I am a fully qualified AHCS & ARTP registered respiratory & sleep clinical physiologist. I graduated from Swansea University in 2015. I have a particular interest in sleep physiology and started my professional career working in the Sleep Unity in Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in London. Following this, I have worked in various respiratory and sleep labs throughout the UK and Ireland, both adult and paediatric. I am currently working as the lead Respiratory & Sleep Clinical Physiologist in the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.
First Class Honours Bachelor of Science in Clinical Physiology (Respiratory) with ARTP Part 1 and Part 2.
